- San Lucas Parish, San Lucas Toliman (in the SW Highlands)
For many years Father Greg Schaeffer has been instrumental in assisting the Mayan communities of Guatemala in his parish and beyond to break free from their economic servitude.  Land in Guatemala is owned by a very few wealthy extended families.  Through his ministry of compassion these communities have become their own landowners.  The love of Christ is presented here in a very holistic means, which affects the social and economic conditions as well as the spiritual life of the people.

- San Adreas Itzapa Orphanage (near Antigua)
Madre Madrino oversees a ministry to battered women and orphans in San Andreas Itzapa.  We have constructed three buildings for this ministry.  One of the beautiful things in Guatemala is the partnership between somewhat unrelated ministries.  Father Gregory, of the San Lucas Parish, is big-hearted enough to have provided the cement and his crew to accomplish the very same for the battered women and orphans in San Andreas as that which he provides for us when we are with his parish.

- Association of Christian Schools International
The Association of Christian Schools International has invited us to partner with them in erecting school buildings in locations where they have already established very successful schools.  This ministry is doing a wonderful job of offering skills and education to help lift these children out of their downward economic cycle.  All the while, the schools are daily instilling within the children basic Christian values and beliefs.  Through the children ACSI also develops close ties to the student’s families and the communities in which they live, and they are finding that they have great impact into these extended relational arenas as well.  Often times new churches are birthed as a result of these schools.
